Founder & Lead Therapist
"'Spirituality begins where Science ends. Science prepares you. Faith empowers you. It is the combination of both - which ultimately results in the best coutcomes for our children.'"
Mayuri Ramdasi, with 23 years of experience as a speech and language therapist, founded ARULA based on her professional expertise and personal journey as a mother of a daughter with autism. Her approach has helped her daughter achieve all developmental milestones and become a highly independent young woman.
Believing that 'spirituality begins where science ends', Mayuri integrates practical knowledge with an artistic touch and spiritual insight to create a holistic approach. This unique methodology enables her to connect deeply with her patients and provide transformative therapy.
Over the past 2+ decades, Mayuri has continuously refined her therapeutic methods, blending modern science, emotional understanding, and spirituality. Her commitment to innovation has made her a trusted global expert in autism therapy, helping countless families achieve meaningful milestones.
The Reason Behind ARULA
"The world does have more colours than what most can see. More seasons than what most can experience. That's Autism for you. It's the ability to find a story on the bookmark of a 1000-paged novel, and before you know it, thath's the only story that would matter."
Devahuti, fondly called by everyone as Dehu, is ARULA’s first success story. Currently aged 16, she is Mayuri Ramdasi’s younger daughter who has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is the source of strength and creativity to Mayuri Ramdasi’s brainchild – that is ARULA.
Growing up, Dehu had latent speech and took much longer to come up with her first words than most kids. She struggled to adapt to the pace of the neurotypical world around, emotionally. However, with Mayuri Ramdasi’s continued, unwavering and strengthening ARULA Approach, Dehu’s diagnosis has now been transformed into a High Functioning Autism.
Have her challenges completely been erased? No, but now, she has the self-dependence and independence required to face her own battles.
